Congratulations on your new SkyKingSports bike!
Every SkyKingSports bike is carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse and arrives approximately 85% pre-assembled. With just a few simple steps, you'll have your bike ready for a safe and enjoyable ride.
This guide will walk you through the assembly process from start to finish. We also recommend watching our assembly video if you'd like a visual demonstration.
Before assembling your bike, prepare a clean and open workspace.
Inside the box, you should find:
If anything appears damaged or missing, please contact our support team before assembly.
Carefully remove the bicycle from the packaging.
Avoid using sharp knives near the frame or cables to prevent accidental damage.
Remove all protective foam, zip ties, and cardboard packaging before beginning assembly.
Take a few minutes to inspect the frame, wheels, brakes, and accessories for any signs of shipping damage.
Position the handlebars into the stem and align them with the front wheel.
Tighten each bolt gradually using the supplied Allen key, alternating between bolts to ensure even pressure.
Do not fully tighten one bolt before the others.
Once installed, stand in front of the bike and confirm the handlebars are perfectly aligned with the front wheel.
Insert the front wheel into the front fork.
Depending on your model, secure the wheel using the supplied axle nuts or quick-release mechanism.
Before tightening completely, spin the wheel to confirm it rotates freely without rubbing against the brake pads.
Each pedal is marked:
Install the pedals by hand first to avoid cross-threading.
Use the supplied wrench to tighten securely.
Important: The left pedal uses a reverse thread and tightens counterclockwise.
Adjust the saddle so the rider can comfortably place the balls of both feet on the ground while seated.
Tighten the seat clamp securely before riding.
For children, avoid setting the seat too high during the first few rides. A slightly lower position helps build confidence.
Before riding, squeeze both brake levers several times.
Ensure:
If necessary, make small adjustments following the owner's manual.
Check the recommended tire pressure printed on the tire sidewall.
Inflate both tires to the recommended PSI before riding.
Correct tire pressure improves comfort, safety, and handling.
Before the first ride, complete this quick checklist:
✔ Handlebars securely tightened
✔ Front wheel properly installed
✔ Pedals fully tightened
✔ Seat firmly secured
✔ Brakes functioning correctly
✔ Tires inflated to recommended pressure
✔ Chain moving smoothly
